Falconry: A Lifestyle, Not a Hobby

Falconry is arguably the most demanding animal hobby in existence. You must weigh your bird daily down to the gram; too heavy and it flies away, too light and it dies. You need a sponsor, a license, and access to vast hunting grounds. You don't put a hawk in a cage and leave it; you spend hours every single day manning, training, and hunting. It is a full-time job.
