Meet Our Pets
Austin
Dog
Austin is a sweet adult Bernese Mountain Dog who loves his family more than anything. He's a gentle giant, but he suffers from extreme car anxiety, which makes any kind of travel a huge challenge. He's currently on a cross-country journey from Portland to his new home in NYC.
Baby Koala
koala
A tiny baby koala (joey) that fell from its mother's pouch and sought warmth and safety with our golden retriever, Asha, overnight.
Barney
Dog
Barney is a classic Husky with an independent streak and a love for exploring. He's incredibly sweet but lives to test boundaries, especially when there's an interesting smell or a new path to follow.
Buddy
Small Dog
8 years, 10 months old
Buddy is a quiet little dog I adopted from the shelter a few years back. He's not a young pup anymore, which suits my pace just fine. He's my best companion.
Butterscotch
Cat
The neighborhood's resident 'community cat' who one day decided my car was the perfect place for a nap. His name is either Butterscotch or Tuna, depending on which neighbor you ask.
Duke
American Pit Bull Terrier
2 years, 6 months old
65 pounds of pure cuddle. Thinks hes a chihuahua. Will knock you over for belly rubs. Working on 'leave it' but squirrels exist so.
Lewis
Rat
2 years, 4 months old
Lewis is a sweet, chunky, elderly rat who lives with his two brothers, Pip and Squeak. He loves malt paste and sleeping in his Sputnik, but has recently started showing signs of age-related stress and confusion.
Luna
Cat
Luna is a brown shorthair tabby with bright green eyes, adopted by a first-time owner who is learning the ropes. She's slowly coming out of her shell and teaching her human about the wonderfully weird world of cats.
Moose
Dog
8 years, 1 month old
Moose is our big, sweet yellow Labrador Retriever. We adopted him from a rescue when he was about two, and they assigned him a birthday of January 10th. He's the gentlest giant, obsessed with fetch, and lives for his scheduled mealtimes and his once-a-year hamburger patty.
Pip
Hamster
7 months old
A very demanding female hamster who wasn't satisfied with standard care. She's got a lot of energy and strong opinions about her cage layout.
Simba
Toyger Cat
9 months old
A young toyger who makes everyone think we adopted a wild animal. Extremely high energy and follows his human everywhere like a little orange shadow.

The Blind Squirrel
Squirrel
A blind squirrel that started showing up at my bird feeder in early January. It moves very cautiously but is incredibly determined to get to the seeds.
The Lake Croc
Crocodile
A massive crocodile spotted at the old abandoned lake. Looked ancient and was the biggest one I've ever seen in the wild.
The Orange Stray
Cat
An orange stray cat who decided to adopt me by hopping into my car at the park in January 2026.
